Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check and record stock levels, ensuring proper organization of goods in the warehouse.
- Equipment Inspection: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all forklifts and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and handled with care to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, warehouse policies, and operational procedures at all times.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by promptly clearing debris and organizing storage areas.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: No experience required. However, prior warehouse or material handling experience is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver’s License (Class C) is preferred but not mandatory for the role.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions, read labels, and maintain accurate records.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
