Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock as required.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B not required but preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
