Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Order Pickers, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to 5S standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of stock and documentation.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B forklift operator license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
