Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory while maintaining strict adherence to inventory records.
- Load & Unload Freight: Perform loading and unloading of trailers and trucks, ensuring proper handling of all products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
