Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on forklift equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stocking products according to established safety protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines efficiently.
- Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of pallets and cargo with precision and care.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with a valid license or certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
