Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and railcars with precision and care.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols (OSHA standards).
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment as required by management.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
