Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks following strict safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels within the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Workspace Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including daily logs and incident reports, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen (DOT compliant where applicable).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy when handling inventory and equipment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
