Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and forklifts to move, locate, stack, and retrieve merchandise.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, pallets, and shelves.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklift equipment before and after shifts.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock organization to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification through our training program (training provided).
- Basic math skills for inventory checks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to work.
