Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured, organized, and staged for processing.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and manage stock placement according to warehouse protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates must be eager to obtain a forklift certification (training provided on-site).
- Basic Skills: Strong reading and basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available to work full-time hours.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies in inventory and report them immediately.
