Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory logs to ensure accuracy.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trailers and trucks with precision, ensuring cargo is secure and organized.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
