Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely move materials and products from trucks to storage areas and vice versa using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and documenting stock movements.
- Stacking & Organization: Stack products securely on pallets and shelves to ensure warehouse organization and prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members to coordinate workflow.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and safe handling of goods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and weighing items.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
