Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage inventory accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and tagging products.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse software or RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
