Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to/from shipping docks.
- Inspect forklifts and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and document stock movements accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
