Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Verify and record inventory counts using scanners or manual logs, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Assist in the organization of stockrooms and storage areas to maximize space utilization.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred or valid certification).
- Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
