Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and organizing stock in designated zones.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a accident-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet shipping deadlines and optimize warehouse flow.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1 or Class 3) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods as required.
