Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with inventory control teams to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of trip hazards at all times.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) issued by a recognized authority.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
