Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and efficiently. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety compliance.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse tasks.
- Inventory management: Stocking shelves, picking orders, and packaging items.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training provided).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
