Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy using handheld scanners.
- Load & Unload: Securely load and unload shipments from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Keep Workspace Organized: Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as shipping logs and receiving reports, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience is required; we are looking for a positive attitude and a hunger to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting and weight checks.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for spotting errors in inventory or safety hazards.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
