Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocktaking, inventory control, and ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained in designated storage areas.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Keep Work Area Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates with no prior forklift experience are encouraged to apply; we will provide training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counts and order picking.
- Attention to Detail: Must be able to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy in inventory tasks.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not required for the operator role.
