Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move, stack, and retrieve materials safely.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and speed.
- Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Inspect equipment for damage and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to prioritize tasks and meet daily quotas.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (Class 3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read labels and paperwork accurately.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions when performing loading/unloading duties.
