Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas for efficient retrieval.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace for all employees.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Package and label goods properly for domestic and international shipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFII) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and operational procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or inventory software.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
