Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport products.
- Inventory Accuracy: Conduct accurate stock counts, pick, pack, and stage orders to ensure 100% inventory integrity.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of machinery and report any malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse staff to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a distribution center environment.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of standing for long durations, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and navigating tight aisles.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
