Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning tags and updating inventory management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance checks before each shift.
- Collaborate with team leads to organize stock and optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
- Handle heavy lifting and physical labor as required, maintaining a high level of stamina and focus.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory software or handheld scanners.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
