Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating stock systems.
- Organize the warehouse floor to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Report any damaged equipment or hazardous conditions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software.
