Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely in accordance with OSHA and company regulations.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and railcars efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (valid for Class I, II, or III).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
