Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed at all times.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any damage or malfunctions before and after each shift.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and tagging items appropriately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and traffic patterns.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating counterbalance or reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and tasks.
