Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and documenting stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and warehouse organization.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred).
