Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Organize, stack, and store inventory in designated areas to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL preferred but not always required for internal certs).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work and tracking inventory.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
