Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Order Pickers) to move, locate, and stock merchandise efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and hazard-free to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CPCS, OSHA, or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) without exception.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
