Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and perform daily maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and ensuring stock levels match system data.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, including proper securing of loads and wearing all required PPE.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient workflow during the night shift.
- Keep the work area organized and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a regular basis.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management software and handheld scanning devices.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
