Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials in and out of the warehouse facility.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy of warehouse stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders efficiently by picking and packing items according to pick lists.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift License: Must possess a current and valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
