Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and accurate record-keeping to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and efficient workflow during peak weekend hours.
- Ensure all safety gear is worn and that proper lifting techniques are utilized to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30) or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Valid Driver’s License (not required for operation, but preferred).
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a weekend shift role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and be willing to work overtime as needed.
