Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products to and from trucks and storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, inventory verification, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Organize and stack goods securely to optimize warehouse space and prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
