Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials with precision and care.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all forklift equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, adhering to shipping schedules and safety protocols.
- Conduct accurate cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety signage is visible and accessible.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve any logistical challenges quickly.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred or willing to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- License: Valid California Driver's License (if required for yard operations).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
