Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Counterbalance preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
