Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working order and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated zones to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
