Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers with precision and speed.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse management.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize downtime and errors.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CDL is preferred but not always required for standard forklifts).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.
