The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our warehouse operates smoothly. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inbound/Outbound Operations: Assist in the receiving and shipping of goods, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of orders.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock checks, maintaining accurate digital and physical records of inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to ensure safe operations and efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to coordinate logistics and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces. Must be able to pass a basic physical agility test.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by business volume.
- Communication: Basic English language skills required for safety instructions and team coordination.
