Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved, stored, and retrieved safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and logging quantities.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity goals.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
