Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc.) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Inventory Management: Check and inspect equipment for any mechanical or safety issues before and after shifts.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets with speed and accuracy, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily operations and inventory counts as required.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
