Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Inspect forklift equipment for defects and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift to ensure operational safety.
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and proper pallet stacking.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels, incoming shipments, and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (e.g., OSHA, forklift license) is highly preferred or required for this role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) with or without assistance.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting with strict deadlines.
