Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues before use and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by counting, weighing, and tagging items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory management tasks and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFII) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
