Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages, discrepancies, or quality control issues.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipment using proper wrapping and labeling techniques.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) efficiently and perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required for immediate consideration.
