Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor part-time staff, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining a positive work culture.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and coordinate with the purchasing team to prevent stockouts.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with all levels of staff.
- Technical: Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) or inventory systems is a plus.
