Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and shipping containers accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily inventory counts, stock checks, and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to 5S standards.
- Inspect forklift machinery for maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending/reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Valid Driver's License (not required for internal work but helpful).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
