Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, including proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline operations and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of shipments for distribution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
