Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers.
- Ensure all materials are stored correctly to maximize space and safety.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately count and verify inventory against shipping manifests.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure workplace.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Must provide a valid ID and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid Driver's License (preferred for yard hostler duties).
