Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery sites.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and organizing warehouse space efficiently.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and palletizing.
- Perform daily safety checks and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Operate other material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and tracking shipments.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
