Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stage inventory in the freezer and cooler sections.
- Sort, organize, and palletize products to ensure efficient warehouse flow and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as directed by management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures ranging from -10°F to 0°F).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude are a must.
