Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely load and unload freight onto and off trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management:** Accurately scan and track inventory using RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Temperature Control:** Monitor freezer and cooler temperatures to ensure product integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Packing & Labeling:** Properly pack and label shipments to ensure safe transit and accurate order fulfillment.
- Equipment Maintenance:** Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and safety gear.
- Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Education:** High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience:** Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is highly valued.
- Certification:** Forklift certification (Class A/B/C) is a major plus.
- Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme cold conditions (20°F - 10°F).
- Attention to Detail:** Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order processing.
- Availability:** Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
